What do people think about Bentleys? Or Lamborghinis?

Hey guys,

I'm considering buying a new car. The two options are:

- Bentley Continental GT Convertible

or

- Lamborghini Gallardo Convertible (Yellow)

This is not a joke thread or hype up thread or anything stupid. And for those who are going to complain as to why I would spend over $100k on a car, my answer is simple - LIFE IS SHORT, LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST. THERES NO POINT BEING AVERAGE AND MEDIOCRE IN LIFE AND BLENDING IN WITH THE BORING MASSES.

I am 28 years old and would really like to know which car you think would be better suited to someone like me.

Do you see Bentley's as too much for old men?? And Lamborghinis would be better suited for a younger guy? Which one do you think would impress people more (get more head turns)?

The lambo is just straight power, its not like your gonna be taking girls to the race track. unless..
 
Bentley any day of the week. Gallardos can be unreliable in the sense many have just burst into flames (no joke). In the city near me 2 guys got injured because the car literally just set on fire and completely wrote it off. Apparently it's fairly common.

Bentley looks more badass as well. I wouldn't say no to either one though.
 
I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I don't like Bentleys. If I saw someone driving a Bentley, it would certainly "turn my head", but only because I know how much they're worth. I would personally never own one as I don't like the body style. Visually speaking, Bentleys are some of the ugliest luxury cars.

I'm a girl, and between the two, I would take a Lambo but I wouldn't buy either. It reminds me of people buying iPhones and iPads to look impressive or stand out when they're really just crowd followers. I don't find either car particularly visually impressive aside from the amount of money you waste buying them. :rolleyes:

Hey, theres more to it than just the visuals. The interiors are top of the range, with luxurious leather finishings and other additions, as well as the roar of the engines due to their high performance. Not many people have these types of cars so its not really 'following the crowd'.
 
That GT looks incredible :D

Definitely I would pick that over a lambo anyday. Normally I think most bentleys are pretty ugly myself but that GT caught my attention.

On another note, if you're still trying to go in the range of a lambo I would say get an aston martin... those are pretty sick cars and real beauties guaranteed to turn heads.

And if you want to not spend nowhere near as much and still get a good head turner(admit it, cars are bad investments ;)) most clean convertibles can get you a lot of attention, and mercedes audi and bmw are nice options, along with muscle cars. Usually rare colors turn more heads, but you know how that goes....

And if you decide to save and don't know what to do with all the extra cash, you can always stock up on gold and silver.... and if thats not enough, I know someone that could benefit from some herbal remedie...... I mean beer :deal: lol

I wouldn't say the bentley is for old people, that specific one anyway.
Lambo is too flashy for my tastes.. Check out the Audi rs6 or rs4.
But that's just me :D

I won't go for the Bently or the Lambo. The bently looks little bit girly (i am sorry) and lambo enfin you heard all the stories. I would choose the Astin martin, manly and convertebol.
 
Bentley for sure if you want to actually live with the car and drive to places that dont have racetrack-quality asphalt.
 
For a driver I would go Bentley. The lambo just screams cock extension and are cop magnets. Even though the bentley is heavy it still has plenty of power for your average driver with no track experience.
 
The two cars are completely different: BGTC is a comfy daily driver. Gallardo-not so comfy. If ur looking at the Gallardo from the pic [that model range], u will have to buy a new clutch quite frequently. I think that if u are asking on this forum and comparing these two cars, u should gofor the BGTC - its Pimp enough to get u attention, it wont hurt ur back, its fucking fast yet easy to drive.

Dont ask people round here for advice, go get advice from people that actually BUY and DRIVE these cars: teamspeed.com
