Hey there,

I want to start on email marketing.

What are the challenges? What do I need? Any good method/guide I can read here on bhw? Will I have issues getting my emails received in the main tab and not in others/spam?

Here's what I know (you can correct me if I'm wrong):

1. I need a way to send emails, I believe in the beggining it would be better to pay for something like getresponse right? These services also have a free option so I can dive freely in the beggining.

2. I need a lead magnet, something to offer in exchange of an email.

3. I need a source of traffic (this is the easiest part for me)

4. I need to make a funnel. This is a tricky part for me. Let me tell you why. Do I put a subscriber in an inicial funnel and then move it to the daily/weekly/monthly funnel?

5. I need content to send/write on emails. I don't want to write my own stuff, its it enough to share other blogs/content?

6. I need a product/service to sell. That can easily be achieved with affiliate offers.

Would love if you could guide me in the right direction.

Regards.

Yes your wrong. Step 1 is get build a lander and get them to confirm they know they will get emails again from you.

Then step 2 is signup for a mail service like mailjet. Ensure your domain has DKIM and SFD (or whatever those things are called)

Step 3 Then drive traffic to the lander and watch them sign up. (that's the tough bit only really, and something that those with secrets won't tell you. You have to just find a good way to promote your domain either regularly, or through some else's portal)

Step 4. Send them mail from Mailjet or whatever provider you signed up with.

Step 5. Watch the money roll in as they click on your links every month from your newsletter or whatever, and send you money.

1st, you need to mention whether these are opt-in or cold leads. Based on that, all answers change.

Thanks :)

You're on the right track. GetResponse or MailerLite are solid to start - free plans and decent deliverability. Lead magnet + traffic = good combo. The funnel part trips a lot of people up, but yeah, usually you warm them up with an initial sequence, then move them to regular content (like weekly value + promos).

Curation is fine if you're not writing original content, just make sure it’s useful. And yeah, affiliate offers work great once you’ve built some trust.

Inbox placement can be tricky. Keep your emails simple (no spammy words, minimal links), and always get them to reply early on if you can. That helps a ton.

You mean getting them to reply to the emails I send?

You're already on the right track. You do need a lead magnet (like a free ebook) to collect emails.
