What do email passing means?

So total newbie question I see some ad networks selling CPC etc and some say with email passing and some say No email passing.
I also seen some says Email passing Exclusive. So e.g I guess its when a customer signup at a website the network kind clone that mail adress
and send it to me assume I buy CPC with email passing. Can anyone that know how it works explain how it works. Google search just
talk about parsing, not passing. Thanks

Data sharing among network or websites or others is common these days and when you say email passing it falls into cold email marketing zone. When it says no email passing it means optin mailing which is accepted by any email marketing networks.

"Email passing" typically refers to the process of transferring or forwarding an email from one user or account to another.

So if I understand correct e.g I get signups to my site and then I can sell a so called passing to another wbesite/network etc. So I collect the email and sell it as well so sounds good. Thanks guys
