I loved that post where a guy was working in a dream job earning $80,000 parking cars in a valet and earning $40,000 a year doing websites. I wonder what I can do while I wait for an Uber passenger to request a trip. I get to spend 15-25 minutes between trips, I got a book but I wonder if I can make a business or take advantage of my time.

Thanks

Work on a list of new business ideas, they dont have to be good ideas. Just as long as the ideas keep flowing and you throw them out and refine the better ideas until you have a great one.

Probably should keep your eyes on the road while you're driving Uber my friend. ;)

In all seriousness, think of what you're good at and how you can monetize it. OR how you can monetize your time while waiting for gigs. Are you good at writing articles? Creating websites? You mentioned a book, perhaps writing an E-Book? Look around these forums -- there are many, many ways to make money in your free time from Uber.

Only thing I can think of is reading a book. 15 minutes? soon as you concentrate on something the phone will beep again.

You talking about my thread from a few days ago?

Get a laptop and a wifi card or something and hit it hard man. Request comes, close the laptop, shift focus, do your job, park again, open the laptop, and keep grinding.

Sherbs is right. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish working in 15-20 minute increments. It's how I structured my work days.

I never worked more than 4 hours a day unless I wanted to.

Solid advice right here. Plenty you can do from just a laptop and a little free time.

This is what makes people so different, so many would sit in the car, reading a newspaper, picking their nose, scratching their balls & watching the world go by. They are the people who are moaning at the end of the week/month they have not enough money.

A minority will use the time to do something productive, even if it's reading the guides on here.

Uber drivers blog is a great idea imho.

Post your experiences, guide for getting into uber driving, stories from passengers.
