What did you do with xrumor? Anyone SUCCEED ?

a db is provided...thats the 180k but you either use all of them, parse that down by a group of keywords, or use hrefere (free w/ xrumer) to get your own based on a bunch of criteria. I have hrefer running now on a list of topic-specific keywords to parse my own list. Time consuming? Well, considering it just runs in the background as I go about my day not really...I could let it roll overnight as well.

Cool. Is this with version 4.0 only?

hrefer can be purchased separately but comes w/ ver4.0 I cant speak for earlier versions.

I think a working crack of xrumor 4 is the current holy grail of the blackhat world.

I am more than a bit amused by this thread and by the attiudes of some of the posters and even how typical those posters are as American consumers.

Now don't get me wrong here; I really don't give a rat's patootie what you do but I am going to take off my Black Hat and put on my Internet Pundit Hat for a bit and let fly.

Here you guys are, with your very on Shitlist on this very forum; the forum in which scammers and rippers are decried.

"XXX ripped me off!", ABC STOLE MY MONEY!", "XYZ is a RIPOFF! and probably pulls the wings off of flies!".

This while you are searching for a program crack such that you might deprive the developer of his rightfully earned monies, such that you might gain financial advantage through the use of what is essentially stolen software and then just go smiling down the road.

And you wonder why so many sellers insist on being paid via things like Western Union to prevent chargebacks.

I cannot tell you how many things I have sold and accepted credit cards and then have had the purchase charged back because the purchaser didn't read the book and therefore didn't know how to use the product or otherwise engaged in magical thinking in reference to what the purchased item would do.

Or bought my software, then cracked it and charged back the purchase, claiming that it didn't work.

Were I a Mod or an ADMIN or this were my forum, any user who requested a software crack, any user who was selling a software crack,any user who had stated the he/she was developing a crack for software would arbitrarily be placed on the Shitlist.

But it ain't my forum and I ain't a mod or an admin but I do know who I can trust now.

I also know that software piracy is theft, people who pirate software are thieves and you can't trust thieves.

I have no issue paying for a software that I know works. What I usually do is find a cracked version somewhere to try it out. If it's worth my time and actually makes me money I will go to the website and pay for it. There is a lot of shitty software out there.

However if the program turned out to be pure garbage, I know that I saved myself some $$ and I will obviously never purchase it.
