Thought it would be interesting to see what some of your backgrounds are.

I worked at
-Miscellaneous Retail Sales Jobs while in JHS and HS
-Car Sales (sold cars for 3 yrs while still at home)
-Hair Stylist (had to learn a trade to get the f~#k out of my house before dad killed me, either that or motorcycle mechanics. i like chicks so i went with hair)
-College Student (6 YRS)
-Commercial Real Estate Appraiser
-Mortgage Broker (owned my own co. for 12 yrs)
-Insurance Sales (still do some of this. money is good when you land a sale)

NOW
Trying to break into IM and make some $.
I hear "rumors" and sounds from people making $ in IM.
A few programmer friends of mine are making some $.
One is a PHP guy and charges $95/hr and works as much as he wants.
The other guy runs the website of a very popular company (competitor to Groupon). He's doing good too!

What about you?

Software development, old school software like stock, sales, expenses, tax control stuff.
 
I've been cleaning houses since I was 15. I'm 19 now. :)
 
I used to bet on cricket matches,play poker and had time to date pretty girls.Lost huge money.It took me 1 year to clear all my debt all thanks to BHW i got a life and i am serious with my future.

I used to work in an internet cafe before,that's how i know about IM
i Am a student now studying degree,I am 20 now...:)

Me too...i'm still in school....its called the school of Life.

Make sure you get a broad education (not just technical) as your interpersonal skills will take you far.

I did a lot of things before I did IM. When I was a teenager I made mini cactus gardens and sold them, own a market stall at a indoor car boot, started a hand car wash etc. I'm sure there something I am missing, but yeah done quite a bit. Spent most of my spare time working businesses since basically 13.

I did a lot of call center work. With the ok from my boyfriend I quit my job, stay home with the kids and attempt to make money online.

Why would you need permission from your boyfriend to decide your own career path? He isn't the owner of you.
