Ok so for my first hoorah into CPA/YouTube I put up a clip, no nudity, on YouTube with a link to my content locked site to download a sex tape of a very well known star. As I said there was nothing offensive on the clip I posted to YouTube, but they took my clip down.

What did I do wrong in their eyes? Seems they are just hating, as I was getting tons of traffic to my content locked website. I don't think I violated their terms. Could someone enlighten me as to why they would take down the clip?

Thanks.

Read your first sentence back and ask yourself that question. It's not that hard to answer.

Ok so they take down anything sex related? The video I put up was one I stole from YouTube and that clip is still up and doing fine.

Or do they have a problem advertising content locked websites?

Youtube is against CPA, if they find anything related to CPA, they remove video.

Thanks, that's what I get for not reading the TOS I guess.

You can try not put any links in description, just watermark video with link to cpa page and some text like "see it at *link*", try making link easy to write and remember, or just use shortener with custom texts.

Yeah, I watermarked the video with a bit.ly shortened link and put the link in the description. Do you think maybe the link in the description was my downfall?

This was just a test for me, and I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong so not to do it again.

Thanks for your help!

Reupload the video again to a different channel.
