what did i do wrong if my website droped

i made an redirect form domain to some url, after that this page drop form page 5 to 7. I dont know why, because there was good good links form web 2.0, press realease, pbn posts, and some authority profile pages. i dont think is google dance

so if it happend, what is the cause? i dont talk only about redirect, but i want to know: why did my website drop (or no ranking chnage) after new backlinks? anchor over-optimaziation can be a cause?

any advice please

It happens to me all the time with over-optimization. testing here or there. Just go back to what you did b4 the drop and undo what you did. Crawl the site to get it back and the ranking should come back. Unless you did anything else that should help at least to see if that was the cause.

Sure it's the most likely reason. If you use these links it's not good.

ok, thank you for your answers, i have already remove redirect.

i wonder, if i did not remove redirect, and start building links for diversity my anchors, a lot of generic and brands, it can be also solution for it? or removing redirect is a best way?
