What defines online marketing?

Hey -- newbie here -- Im a Computer Engineering Student with front end development experience (mostly with big CMS's for my school website) and just began doing freelance web dev work. Over my brief work experience I have :

-developed with Drupal and other CMS.

-worked with SEO but purely the grunt work, like using software (siteimprove) to increase site Accessibility, fixed broken links and fixed minor website issues.

So Im a newbie in every aspect. How do introduce myself to spamindexing? What are some good first posts to read? And what are parasites?

What are best posts on dropshipping? Where do you find the best products?

I promise you I'm not. Simply a lot of engineering students interested maybe? I saw that post to, I admit it's eerie how similar they sound.
