Bitcoin is a must, it is slow but it’s the most widely used and that’s all that matters as a merchant.
You could just accept bitcoin and be fine, because In order to trade altcoins most of the time people are buying bitcoins, sending to exchange and buying the alt coins.
The next most popular for payments would be ethereum, litecoin, and monero in my opinion.
(New kids on the block will say xrp is the 3rd biggest for payments, It is not. It’s the 3rd largest in daily market trading volume.)
Xrp would be my 4th choice, but in anything I do I like to give my potential customers 3 options to choose from no more, sometimes less.
Uncomplicates things, takes a decision out of it, blah blah
