What CPU are you using right now?

I use an i5 7500 4 cores 4 threads CPU which I bought on ebay for $130. The temperature is about 50 degrees with 35 degrees room temperature. It takes 20 watts on average workload which suits me well as I don't want to waste too much on the Ebill.

What do you use? How does that perform? How much electricity is it taking? Any temperature problems? Do share!!

I was thinking about taking it but heard it runs hot. As I have an itx system, I have to care about temps a lot. If you could, try to measure the wattage :)
 
Still using asus i3 with only 4gb of ram. It is still enough for me to edit video etc but thinking to use desktop i5 with bigger ram. I'm not playing games so it will be more than enough. Haha

Who said it runs hot...this is not k processor and I have a cooler instead of the default one.

i7700 one of the best hands down and compared with ASUS Z170 A
 
35 degree room temperature?! You need air con!
I sweat through my chair at that temperature.

I don't like ACs. I do well with air fan :) But, thank you for your concern. I appreciate it.
 
AMD FX9590 8 cores without the Turbo turned on, 16gb ram. Idle not doing too much around 45c, busy with 3 screens, tons of tabs, bot and graphic software usually around 60-70c.

How many watts it uses I don't really care. Got a 700W power supply so as long as shit is running I'm happy.
