What could be wrong with this domain?

This evening I decided to buy a domain from GoDaddy and I thought I was the first person to think of the domain but it appears I wasn't. After I bought the domain and connected it to blog, I discovered through seoquake that the web archive for the domain date back to 2016 and it has 41 backlinks with a DA of 4. Now, I realize I made a mistake not doing enough research before purchasing.

My question now is, is it safe to proceed with the domain or should I abandon it. Your contribution will be appreciated. The domain is infinixarena.com

It’s not that bad. Just build authority links. If domain isn’t penalized, it’s ok. Check if domain dropped.
 
I think it is a safe domain, only 40 backlinks who care. Also you can disavow them if needed
 
I wouldn't worry about it.

Do searches on Google for the domain name with quotes and without quotes like:
www.cooldomain.com
"cooldomain.com"
"cooldomain" com spam

To see if you see anything "scary."

Google isn't dumb, they know the domain was dropped and a new person registered it. Add the domain to Google Search Console too. And get a page up online and make sure Google is indexing the page within few days.

Exactly. I want to be sure the domain isn't penalised on SERPs and Adsense.

Okay. I thought as much. But I don't know if it was dropped maybe due to adsense ban

Why did you say that? Did you see anything? I don't expect it to be better though.

5 domains make backlinks to you.
Exemple : jozefoslaw24 .pl/forum/User-royammafaps
That's not really good.
