I hear reels and hashtags help, and I see a lot of accounts posting reels like day 1 of ... that make it to my feeds. What are some methods with low work required? Is consistency key to it?

In my experience, hashtags barely move the needle on IG, it's about content type and niche relevance, also consistency matters more than anything. You can post 3-4 reels weekly, but focus on hooks in the first second and trending audio.

Yepp, consistency matters most. posting short relatable reels regularly using trending sounds / hashtags and engaging quickly with comments does most of the work without overcomplicating things.

They’re all pretty easy niches to drive traffic but there’s a huge amount of competition there.

At this point im starting to get better views with no captions or hashtags
 
check out on location trend keyword hashtags to feature related pages in growing on social presence to generate from the traffic pool of the hash and related tag hash.
 
Any type of content can go viral, but you also need some luck (and content worthy of virality of course).
