Which ranks better, a page with 20k words on which rank for 1 main keyword + 20 LSI keywords. Or 1 page with 2k words on ranking for the main keyword followed by 20 child articles with each article focused on one LSI keyword.

sometimes confuse which one is seo guru and which one is seo seller .

I'm confused about link-relevancy, i.e are general sites links work in adult sites..??
Also, which is better, try to rank homepage by pointing link to the homepage or a particular page pointing link to it..??

I will put my 2 pence in for this one. If its an Amazon affiliate site, just avoid sending links to the home page, no point diluting a good link unless the home page is an article. My home pages normally just display a list of articles. I send links to the pages that I need to bump up the most, I never send a link to a home page.

An example of a circumstance where home page linking would be good, is if its a landing page for a service you are selling.

So I guess to answer your question, it's circumstantial to whether it is worth it. If you are going to profit from people going to the home page, then fire away. If not, just point links to pages.

In terms of SEO, I would probably point a few links to the home page just to make it look natural, but would never focus on the home page.

No, mine is not an Amazon affiliate site, but I got the point of what you're trying to make.
Thanks.
Let see what OP will say about this..

Is content is really king?
Yes, but it doesn't mean you won't need backlinks. With that said, having 1500-2500+ words of content when your competitors have 500 is definitely an upper hand. At least in my experience on around 8 sites.

My confusion would be this:

Example.com/category/money-page = Can I no-index the /category/ page? Would link juice be lost compared to having, say, 500 words of content with internal link to the /money-page. Anyone? :p

In my experience, having 500+ words on the /category-page/ helps ranking the /money-page better than if it's, say: example.com/money-page (removing category completely). But then again, I haven't tested this enough yet, I might be wrong.

I'm guessing you have few adult sites as well.
Love to know your experience on how do you put content on those sites..

Category pages: Insert 500+ words unique content for every page. The first thing I did was to order 50x500 words of content ("Anal, Blowjob" etc etc, but I was more niche-specific) for my tubesite to insert into category pages, as I noticed none of my competitors have any content (seriously?)

Each category page was targeting a keyword.

Example.com/categories/anal
Title "Best Free Anal Porn"
And 500 words of unique content about anal porn. You can hide the text in an accordion or something so it's hidden.

Still a bit confused about which keyword will be easy to rank and which one won't be.

Use a service like KWFinder to figure that out, combined with a manual check on the websites ranking on page 1.

Search the forum, there are tons of keyword research-guides.
