Gotta go with real for sure.

Nothing like that fresh pine smell to get you in a holiday mood! Maybe it's a nostalgic thing, but I remember going with my dad to pick out a tree, strapping it to the roof of the car, decorating it, etc. good times!

Fake One if I was forced to get anything. I don't like the mess of real ones and having to throw them out after. Fake one last forever just throw in box and back in garage or basement each year with no mess.

my vote goes for artificial tree....can't see the point of buying a real tree, then throw it after a few days. Really, if somebody can explain a reason.....

if you want the pine tree smell, just buy some branches

We have a small fake one. Actually we only have half of one. Putting up the whole thing takes a lot of space and no one sees the back anyway so we just put on half the branches and anchor it to the wall. That sounds really stupid as I describe it but it's our Christmas tree and we can do whatever we want.

The smell of pine in the warm house mixed with some specific food aromas is Christmas for me. So real tree for sure.
