Oi, I drive a van lol. Is diesel though, get about 35 mpg on a run. UK gallon, so probably on a US gallon about 28mpg

Yes, but I'm sure you've got a family and all. Plus, the van I was eying was a huge american guzzler, modded to be an even bigger guzzler.

I've bought a Volvo V40 a few months ago. It was very cheap and very shit(ty) 
It saved me a lot of money, because it needed a lot less fuel than the Honda Accord I had before.
Anyways this week it is going to be sold. And then I will take that money and my IM payouts of december and buy a proper ride.
Current objects of desire: An Audi A6 with a V6 engine and a BMW 728i.

I drive Volvo S80 T5, 2011. Black color. Nice car, eats too much petrol though, but turbo engines are all fuel hungry unless they use diesel.

I got a cheap Ford, it does everything I need and then some. Not expensive, does not impress anyone but that's exactly what I want : something that takes me up and down the road. I've wasted tons of money in cars when I was younger, you're better off renting cars just to check them out and drive fast, then you get bored and you're not stuck with equity that devaluates 20% a year....

I drive an Envoy. It's a big mom-mobile, filled with car seats for the kids lol. I miss having my little sports car and I hate driving an automatic. It's so much easier to have a SUV when you have little kids to lug in and out of the car though. When they get older I'm for sure getting myself another car.
