What can you recommend to buy for a 5-year-old child? I have already tested many entertainment devices and nothing has helped, now I want to buy something to develop motor skills, what do you recommend?

I suppose it depends on gender, but something sports related? Mini-basketball hoop, football, a sharp knife?

a sharp knife
This is perfect, I got one from my grandpa when I was 4-5 years old, it hurt the first day but after that, man those tree boats I carved looked good in red.

Right? That gives artistic and hand-crafting skills both at the same time! A child doesn't have enough power to cut a finger off completely anyway, so completely safe. Well, unless he runs with it, trips and impales himself but you can always make more children.

Children today are over-protected, they will grow up afraid of everything.

At this age, your child already has his or her own interests. If convenient, you should find out your baby's preferences

It’s not that I’d be scared they’d cut a finger off. It’s that I know my kids. They get into it with other boys chances are that knifes coming out when they’re mad and not thinking.

I call it a precaution. I’d just get them the pellet guns to use at home or parks inly

If you know your kids it might be the time to start teaching them what is right and wrong and how to control anger, as a father that is your job.

Agreed but I cannot be there every minute of the day. I can teach as they do. I can show them by example. But when they go to school and deal with others I cannot see and don’t trust teachers.

I wouldn’t give them a knife at that age. 16-18 sure. Now they should have an idea of consequences.

I'd suggest you to buy building blocks or simple puzzles i think for 5 years old it's gonna be the best choice, i see many kids like to play with that stuff

1. Remote-Controlled Cars or Drones: These can be exciting toys for outdoor play and can help develop hand-eye coordination.
2. Interactive Learning Toys: Look for toys that combine fun with education, such as interactive globes, electronic learning pads, or STEM toys designed for young children.
3. Building Sets: Aside from traditional building blocks, consider sets like magnetic tiles, marble runs, or Tinker Toys that encourage hands-on construction and creativity.
4. Outdoor Play Equipment: Items like a swing set, sandbox, or climbing dome can provide hours of fun and promote physical activity.
5. Subscription Boxes: Consider subscription services that offer monthly kits tailored to a child’s interests, such as science experiments, art projects, or cooking activities.
6. Play Tents or Forts: Kids love having their own space to play and imagine. A play tent or fort can provide a cozy retreat for imaginative play.
7. Sports Equipment: Introduce your child to various sports with age-appropriate equipment such as a soccer ball, basketball hoop, or mini golf set.
8. Musical Toys: In addition to instruments, consider toys like a karaoke microphone, electronic keyboard, or musical activity table to encourage musical exploration.

Legos, some car toys include a track to assemble or trains, that could help them since they need to join them exactly, legos are the best option but you need to be around unless you buy kind of big legos to avoid any accident, some toys have interchangeable pieces.
