I have a site with Amazon products (from diapers to electronics), but I feel like it is on the verge of being banned for being spammy, so I want to make sure I can send the visitors to other offers that will sell in case a ban comes.
Since the traffic is good and stable, I don't want to under-utilize it.
I get about 1,000 daily hits to Amazon via my links.

What other stuff do you think will sell to Amazon traffic?
The problem is if a user comes to site looking for Product X and clicks to see product X on Amazon and then finds something else, s/he may be turned off and leave. I know this scheme transforms the traffic to an untargeted one.

If I sent them elsewhere other than Amazon, what would you suggest?
Will clickbank sell? Send them to an email subscription form? IM related?

If those people are highly interested in certain products then simply send them to what they expect. Guy who came to find some gym equipment may not be really interested in weight loss products on clickbank. Don't waste that traffic and send it to products you think should convert well - send those visitors to what they are looking for. Just find another provider of products that you promote on your site that also has affiliate program.

Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and pretty much every store has a affiliate program that converts well.

I'm not sure if it will convert as well as Amazon, but if you are into a particular niche just apply to a popular store that offers the type of products your visitors want and send them to their products and landing pages.

There is also Shareasale, Commission Junction, Linkshare and Clickbank if you can't find any stores in your niche.

In a case of ban the best solution will be to go with Viglinks by transforming your links to their.
