What can I do with spare office capacity?

I run a digital agency specialising in creative and strategy for social and search engines. I currently have 3 workstations that are practically empty where I feel I can make some use of it - I hate spare capacity going to waste.

Considered setting up 2 rented PCs there and mine bitcoin or some other cryptocurrnecy to make some cash on autopilot - don't know how worthwile that is. Also tried subletting but cant get anything for 3 workstations in the small office that i have anyway.

Any thoughts?

Considered that, but I can't afford to get 3 more guys on salaries as I am budgeting for a bigger project coming soon.
 
Start an incubator for local startups. You get a % of the company and they get "free" office space.

This is a clever idea. While it might not return a lot in the short run, it could pay off big time if one of these companies really takes off. Alternatively you could always offer it well below the going rate for office space, and someone would definitely pick it up. I'm sure you could advertise it a bunch of different ways. A bunch of people are doing these "office sharing" exercises anyway, so even if you can't get full value - at least you can get some productivity out of the space.

Find the weak spot in your current infrastructure, and plug the hole by hiring a couple part-timers that specialize in what you are lacking. Pick up another product line and/or service to sell, and use those workstations for that.

It is not a bad idea, but personally I would go with a gimp dungeon or sex swing.

You obviously did not take that very well. My point is, instead of maximising space usage the way you are currently thinking about it, think of a way to increase your productivity and that of your employees. strip pole is an extreme example.

-Get a coffee/popcorn/whatever machine.
-Get some plants.
-Shift places every now and then to geta different perspective.

I cannot be bothered right now to search but I am sure I have read studies on how each of the above boosts productivity.

nad999 makes some good points. I would think that increased productivity above all else actually. It's always nice to have a "libary" a place to go that's quite so you can get your head straight. But find something that make sense for your business and potential employees.
