Certain forums and websites require login with an edu email to access them. Don't remember any right now, but I've come across a few.

let's assume someone is interested in Azure subscription, running all those lovely VMs and containers, getting some practice and knowledge along the way and again, let's assume some .edu mail gets purchased - would it last for a full year... I mean if you start running some machines you don't wanna wake up with email form Microsoft saying - due to recent info account "under revision and temporary blocked". Anyone thought about it and maybe has a thought/solution?

Unfortunately, Jetbrains, Canva, Microsoft (especially M365 and Azure), and GitHub are pretty strict for educational email, since they know somehow people can register whole educational domains of US (.edu), Poland (.edu.pl), UK (.edu.uk) and so on, without holding or affiliate of any educational status. I know there are some methods for you to get these domains, and they also know well.

Because of that, they all require you to upload your school ID (if you are presenting as an active student in schools), your face of identity, or your national ID.

I have been working with lots of customers on the dark web that they hold for the educational domains, but are unable to proceed with anything, and then these ".edu" domains and emails quickly become useless for not to pay for free services online.

Most of.the edu emails do not work for backlinks. They are used simply to get discounts while purchasing different services. Like even Amazon has seperate student plan where they offer prime for six months for free.to.students
