What can i do to improve clicks on my site?

Well, I'm new here and this is my first post. I've joined bhw for a month now and I think bhw is the best forum. Lots of tips and goodies too.

Back to my topic, I have a site, targeted on a specific niche. I want to monetize the site by using amazon affiliates, posting the product links and making an aStore. I also use clickbank.

So far I've managed to get consistent 200+ visits per day but i can't convert that into money. Just managed to make $2.40 with amazon, but I think its purely a newbie luck. I think I've a good layout but there must be something wrong with it...

I've attached a snapshot, can you gurus give me some feedback? There must be something I can do to make the traffic click the affiliate product and use the store that I've set up..

Hmmm....interesting. Couple thoughts came to mind when I glanced at the screenshot.

It's an interesting niche from what I can tell, but I think you really need to think about the psychology of the target audience and what would motivate them/interest them enough to click and convert.

If your target audience is males who are having trouble with women, you could play to that with ads for "herbal male enhancements" and stuff like that; ashleymadison affiliate program or something similar might also be a good one for that demographic. Maybe also some counseling or psych affiliate program or e-book too.

Just my two quid from a quick look at your screenshot.

Playing with psychology huh? Hmm, i I think I must do further research. How bout the affiliates ads at the sidebar? Was it big enough? Do you it it will get their attention?

You have to put yourself into the mind of the average users who is coming to your site. From the looks of your content in that screenshot they'd be coming to your site when they are having relationship troubles. Now tell me why someone who is having those troubles would be interested in knowing what to do on their wedding day? Your relationship generally has to be going pretty well to get married.

So my suggestion to you is trying to find some more targeted ads or trying new ads. Split testing is always key.

I put wedding because the niche also covers marriage. I'll follow you advice, based on analytics, most of the traffic comes for a 'troubled' like post.
