The Firefox seo toolbar shows that a particular site of mine has 109,000 pages ranked in Google but the site has less than 500 pages. I get similar outrageous numbers when using other website analyzer tools. When I scroll through the Google page results in an effort to see what Google could possible be indexing, nothing out of the ordinary shows up. The Google indexed page results end on page 35 which is only 370 indexed pages even though it says 109,000 pages indexed. What could be causing such a discrepancy?

I think whatever these mystery pages that Google is picking up for my site is reducing the overall relevancy of my site for my targeted keywords and having an effect on my search site ranking and page rank because:

Compared to my competition my site is top of the line in terms of quality, seo, relevant content and plus the domain is 6 years old... Yet it has a Google page rank of 1, is showing 0 backlinks despite my backlinking efforts (Bing shows 1500 backlinks and Yahoo shows 97) , and is on page 4 of search results for keyword. But yet there are 1 year old competitor sites with 0 page rank and 0 backlinks showing up on page 1 for the keywords in question. I just don't get it...I've used some back linking services in the last year but all other seo has been white hat and the site has never been banned...my site should easily be on page 1.

Would appreciate any advice, comments, help. And if there is an seo guru that wouldn't mind taking a look at my site to see if they can shed some light on what is going wrong I would appreciate that too. Thank in advance.:)
