What can be done now?

There has been buzz around the IM industry about making FB Fan pages and earning money from it, but i was struggling to come up with a decent idea for a fan page.
Few days back while surfing a TV soap website i found that a new season of a very popular tv show (Eg: Lost) is coming later this year, after doing some initial research i found that there was no FB page for that. So I made a fan page of that TV series like 3 days ago.

Today i opened my email, and i don't know how but my page already has 500+ likes!! I was like WTF! I still don't have any image/post/or information on that page.. lol..:bigok:

Now I'm planning to monetize it.. any suggestions?? how should i go about it.

Send them your affiliate link for freebies such as appliances, electronics and coupons.

Send them direct Amazon Links to any products directly related to the show. Anyway, what you really ought to do is put some promotion into the fan page. Build up the base to 10,000+. Should be relatively easy given your stated limited competition.

Some bookmarking, social apps, etc... should be able to easily get you up to that level.

You want people to join your fanpage. Set it up so that you are giving away a copy or two of the series when it is finally released later this year. You'll get all kinds of folks to join.

Once you have your customer base, you can market to them appropriate offers related to the niche including other TV shows, movies, music and general entertainment stuff.

Don't expect to make much money marketing to 500 FB users. You need MANY more to make serious dough...but this is a promising method for you in my opinion.

Well, if you are doing this, make sure you dont use any company's name or personal trademark as that can cause you to be sued, just find something unique.Of your own, that is.

Theres a new season of Lost coming out or you were just using that as an example?

Be prepared for your page to be ganked at any second. I had a similar situation with a gaming company and one day the page was gone
