This has been scientifically proven already. The enzymes required to create egg can only be produced by chicken. So, there is no way egg could've come first. Similarly, there are plants that don't have seeds but all seeds come from plants only. Hence, chicken and plants came first and eggs and seeds came later.
Leaving research aside, this can also be easily understood from the evolution. One organism evolves into the other, but they don't evolve into eggs and seeds. So, there is no point in arguing over such silly things.
