It seems to me better to keep your assets on several wallets and choose a non-custodial wallet. You should also pay attention to the wallet rating, for example on cryptocompare.
 
I think Exodus is a pretty good wallet and that's what I use to hold my Bitcoins.

Coinbase
Electrum

I have account of local exchanges in my country. I also have an account on Binance but I do not use it for trades. The I also use some other wallets but they are for small transactions and airdrops.
 
i use a Ledger Nano X and as second wallet i use blockchain on my phone
