I have just started to learn python and I'm looking for a project. So if you have something you want built then suggest it and if it looks doable then I will get started. I will of course release it free of charge for bhw.

Hi, I have some PHP knowledge and I'm going to learn java because of college, but I have a question, which one is the best language for making bots (scrapebox like), ranking tracker...etc never tried python.

    What do you recommend? Thanks,

I dont know the answer to this I'm afraid. I do alot of php development but had some issues on a recent data scraping contract job which involved scraping over 2.5 million records. The cron job which firedthe cUrl process was getting really bogged down.

With that in mind my primary reason for starting with python was it's scraping abilities.

But once I started investigating I saw how powerful it could be for building bots too.

Having said all that I don't have the experience to answer your question apart from to say that if you have some php experience then python is pretty straight forward to get your head around. And with all the prebut modules /packages that you can import you can get zone pretty amazing functionality with just a few lines of code.

In my opinion. Best Programing Language is that language with you perfectly know :). But for programing (bots, screapers etc.) "I" would prefer scripting language one is ofcourse Python it have a good libary of open modules that u can use. If u have good knowledge of Python syntax u can fast build, flexy script with will fit your needs.

Am thinking of buying ubot studio to create my own bots, but I also like getting dirty with coding. But somethings, I want like yesterday.

I always have lots of ideas so, it will be good to be able to make them fast.

@QuiGloriam .net is a good place to start when bot programming since there are a lot of resources around. But at the end a c++ bot is alway to be the best (but most difficult to program)

@bhstudent if you know programming try a proper programming language ubot is not really good and generally slow
