Alright, I know a guy who runs a satire/rant site that gets ~80k/uniques a month (I think this can be doubled with a little SEO). He's looking for a way to monetize it with, he got banned from adsense for some reason, so I suggested affiliate promoting through CJ. The problem is, there's really no niche market, and his audience is likely 80% teenagers.

Anyways, my question is; what are some of the best converting things on CJ for under 18 year old traffic? Thanks a lot.

PS: He is a US citizen if that helps.

Try ringtones. Almost all teens have one these days. Basically anything that won't require a CC and is entertainment based could work.

Maddox (similar site to what you're talking about) makes heaps from selling his shirts and books. You could try that.

I know who Maddox is. In fact, the site I'm asking this for is one of the first copy's of that site. I suggested merchandise, but the guy didn't seem too interested.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, keep 'em coming. I have no experience with sites like this.

    I agree with all above,

Ringtones/Surverys/Crush/Quiz/free Stuff and that general crap, the easier it is to do the better, so ringtones and that kind of thing I find work well.

Make sure you have a good placement though, because these users tend to be very ad blind and since he isn't using adsense it should be possible to do some trickery...

Thank you all who contributed! Currently working on most of the suggestions.

It's somewhat tricky. This guy is a great ranter, but he know fuck all about marketing. His words, and I quote "ideally, I just add some code to my site, and collect the paycheck. End of involvement." :/
