What are your thoughts on CPA giveaways?

Hello BHW,
I recently created a landing page that promotes giveaways (Win a $50 Amazon Gift Card, Win a Free Xbox/iPhone, etc.) Do you guys think that these promotions are still worthwhile or are they a dead method? Plus, where is the best place to submit these links? Thank in advance, this forum is awesome for us newbies.

Yes this is still hot niches for gift card promoting. and the best place to promote is on youtube.
 
Are you creating your own giveaway and promoting via content locking or are you promoting a sweep offer from a network like Maxbounty?

Can you tell me a bit more about this? Should I put my landing page in the description and what type of content would the video be then? Because I'm sure that people don't watch giveaway videos lol

I have a landing page for an email submit to win a giftcard which would redirect to a thank you page with some other cpa offers.

If I got you correctly you are promoting email submit offers. This offers are very picky when it comes to converting, traffic must be very HQ and they won’t convert with fake info. I usually see “No YouTube” traffic on such offers,
