What are your favourite keyword research tools? For researching Low competiton keywords and high competition keywords too?

I published my own free keyword research method a few months back, it is 100% free, required no tools provided you are willing to put a little bit of time in. I have lost count of the number of keyword research tools I have used over the years and I still preffer that method. That being said, I did recently try the AHRefs tool and it was the best I have ever used but not worth the cost if you only get the subscription for the keyword research tool.
