What are you using for keyword research?

I need to find some new keywords to target and I was using micro niche finder and market samurai but they are still using the old google keyword database or whatever its called.

How are you guys finding keywords using the new updated google tool stats? Is it also true those stats are much more specific, cause I found 5 or so decent keywords to target using MNF then I put those same keywords into google and It would be a total waste of time to build a site for them. Ideas?

Im sure google have the most accurate data and most of the tools in the market are just scraping data from google keyword tools. Im using a custom tool I created because most tools in the market have their own hidden analysis about the complexities of the keyword, which I dont like the most.
 
With everything else sucking so bad, I find myself spending more time with Wordtracker again.

That what I was using too byt it doesn't use the new data that google keyword uses for the numbers are all way off.

Does anyone know if these programs plan on using the new database?

The new version of marketsamurai is already using the new database.
 
I use the following keyword research tools to find hot niches and do seo targeting:
1. Keyword Elite(Brad Callen's tool that is all hype and %10 useful)
2. Arelis Keyword Research Tool(part of IBP)
3. SEO Spyglass and SEO Keyword Tool(Complete SEO Suite)
4. Web CEO

HI to everyone..Im new here...and i have job for backlinking..can anyone give an idea what to use?or sites that can approved backlinks
 
I am also using MNF and MS for the keywords researching.

But the MNF can't extract the data from GG, seems the interface between MNF and GG is wrong, waiting for the update from MNF.;)
 
Market Samurai just had an update (this morning)-- supposedly they are extracting the latest now.
