What are YOU Currently doing about Panda 4.0?

Pretty much what the title says.

My site was ranking #1 for 4 main money terms. I've dropped to 2nd or 3rd across all 4 terms, and im occasionaly bouncing back to #1 for one of these terms. (The same page ranks for each term)

So far, ive deleted some thin 'round up' posts on my site, around 10 or so, and I've added a video to my main page which ranks for the terms (its the homepage)

Aside from that, im just sitting and monitoring the SERPs & competition.

Just wondering what the rest of you guys are doing.

Best to wait it out a few more days and see what happens before taking action , or are you making changes now?

It's better to wait for a few days, at least one week.

Your hole website should be Silo then with a video on each page, and also H1 Tag on each page and a few power links pointing to home.com or whatever.

I've not seen any change in my rankings yet, the cement of SEO holding up my website seems to be doing well.

I have just hired a company to do 5 months of work to get me to #1 for 10 keywords. So I'll see whether it's an easy journey or not

You saying that it only bounced down a few positions and not pages? If it is just a few positions, chances are that the competition for those pages just updated and that you actually weren't hit at all. It is still really early since the updates has been rolled out. I would wait a little bit before doing anything so that you can see how everything plays out. Things might slowly return to normal.

I am doing nothing. No point. I stopped trying to ranks sites on G over a year ago. I now target B and Y and if it accidentally ranks on G so much the better.

Wait it out... and then slowly make changes. Making changes too fast and you won't know what actually fixed it or hurt it more.

How much have your rankings dropped? Just a spot or two or a couple of pages down? It could be that you just lost some important links and nothing to do with Panda?

Probably the biggest mistake is to get paranoid and start making changes fast on each google algo change

Take it easy. When the entire index is updated all sites jump a bit and affects each other. It will take a little while before new rankings can be called stable. You just might get that #1 spot back.

Monitoring the serps,checking which sites are going up,which are going down and analyzing their link profile.

If your site is merely bouncing from #1 to #2 or 3 I wouldn't worry too much. I think if you were falling into Panda 4.0 your rankings would drop more than 1 or 2 spots. I would wait a week or 2 and see what you can do from there. If you make drastic changes for 1 position, you may end up shooting yourself in the foot in the process.

I wanna wait and watch untill it gets over and we can find out what changes they made to their algorithm. No use to start fixing your house while tornado is aproaching, rather wait and let it go and then start again.

OP at least you should have wait for 2 weeks, as it can be temporary down.

This is pretty much where I am at the moment.
I'm just hitting the 'rank me' button as usual and see what happens.

A f******g dance is what is happening. My keywords are moving from earth to moon and back.

Yes im still on page 1. Ive just dropped from Ranking 1st to ranking 2nd and 3rd for my terms.

Some of my other terms have had bigger drops from 1st page to 2nd page, however these pages have not been too optimised, and were never really a focus.

My main page to rank & my terms have only dropped from ranking 1st position on page 1, to ranking 2nd or 3rd on page 1.

Still waiting for the dust to settle....also wondering if we will see a penguin soon as well.

speaking of dust settling. How good of a gauge is mozcast for seeing if things are quietening down?
