Recently Megaupload was taken down. But shortly after all accusations against the founder were dropped. In the process he earned so much money that he will never be able to spend it. He managed to create a portal that more people wanted to use than the current brand leader rapidshare. The probability is high that he will be able to continue his work using the old domain, soon.

And what are we doing here? We are trying by spamming or even registering on different major sites to earn not even a tiny fraction of what he earns. Then we get kicked out of those services and try again. We don't see the bigger picture at all. We are happy to have earned a few dollars. That's all.

He has got the biggest mansion in New Zealand. Using our methods we will never, I repeat, never come even close to his wealth. Because what are we wasting our time with daily? We are fighting against spam protection. We are fighting against being kicked. I mean, seriously how ridiculous is that? "So what is your occupation?" -> " I am trying to keep my accounts alive on twitter".

What would the founder of megaupload say? "I earn thousands of dollars a day by running my own business. I don't do advertising, I don't pay big sites to bring traffic to me. No, people we don't pay do that for us."

You might say "A penny saved is a penny earned" or "Many a little makes a mickle" but using this approach you will never make a lot of money. Right before you die you will think: "Well, the biggest accomplishment in my life was keeping a virtual profile on some big company's website alive for 4 weeks".

Can you become even more pathetic?

Actually: they did pay them ;)

Speak for yourself..

create a business of your own if you don't want to rely on major sites to earn your money

Just for your information - there are many people here who run a business, and even more people who are doing different things than what you described. Perhaps you just have the wrong contacts here, or you're just only reading the "making money method" threads, which are most of the time utterly useless, unless you implement them in your own way. There are few people who share methods on making money when the methods still work as-is, simply because revealing those methods would mean less income for them. Therefor by sharing an out-dated method they atleast are able to get some "thanks" and reputation points.

The best methods are most of the time the easiest ones, the ones you don't think about simply because it is too easy. The real succesful people here (I dare to say some are atleast as succesful as Kim "Dotcom") just don't share shit methods and probably most of the time do things "Behind the scenes" on these forums.

He's not from WF to reveal all his secrets and strategies. He may spent a lot while starting for advertising, he may be having many people to work at the back end.
If you start thinking and doing big, one day or other you will be big and can have your own mansion in your city.

There's a natural progression to everything. Life is a learning process, almost everyone starts out small then eventually builds on the idea that can be scaled. Telling people to go straight after that multi-million business from the start without the experience /resources necessary to survive and be a success is pointless. There are not that many Kim Dotcoms in the world.

If that's true, you can back it up with information.

Only immature children with no knowledge of a market would be driven by the reward of virtual names below their texts. I doubt what you write.

So if not by trying to sign up and being kicked out, how do people make a large-scale income, is the question.

If you can, elaborate it. Thank you in advance.

You underestimate the human ego.
I do not.

There are people earning as much as he does on BHW.

But for most of us working for our selves and picking the hours we want to work is 100x better than working a regular 9-5 :)

Highly doubt that, he had a site that when it was took down 2-3% of the worlds internet traffic decreased with it, nobody here is going to be able to compete with that on a consistent basis, a one off day yes but consistently I doubt it.

I think the question is, what are YOU doing here if you think BHW is all about spamming and cheating the system for a few pennies? Most people here run good sites that provide actual value, and they are just looking for ways to profit from the popularity of those sites. People are "happy to have earned a few dollars" because that's where it starts. Do you think Kim Dotcom just woke up one day, decided to make money on the internet, and made 50 million that following month? Nope. He probably made "a few dollars" at first, learned from the experience, and gradually made more until he was super rich. That's how it works.

Correction: the methods WE hear about on the public area of this forum will never bring us close to his wealth. Although, making good sites with value and good monetization can bring you significant amounts of money if you work at it. And when someone asks me what my job is, I'd much rather say "I work at home trying to keep Twitter accounts alive" than "I work 40+ hours a week a week taking orders from a mental defective with a business management degree"

You might say "A penny saved is a penny earned" or "Many a little makes a mickle" but using this approach you will never make a lot of money. Right before you die you will think: "Well, the biggest accomplishment in my life was keeping a virtual profile on some big company's website alive for 4 weeks".

If that approach will never make you money, why does every rich person say that? Why do they advise you to be grateful for every little earning? Just because you aren't making a TON of money right now doesn't mean you sit around whining, it means you look at it and find a way to scale it up.

Someone said he was earning $50K per day, so I was talking about money and not traffic. ;)

There are people earning $1.5mil a month in IM every month. Not many, but there are a few!

I wonder how much that Kern guy earns every month... ?

Yep, that's what it is all about . . . .

Sounds to me like another person with a very bad Self-esteem and being mad at the world for not making a penny for doing nothing
has cracked.

Im sure for him to earn $50k a day he had put in a shit load of work in the beginning. Anybody can get there and there is a lot of people here
that is well on their way there.

The big earners are here on this forum, yeah right. If they were, they would've shown themselves. We all know how earning stats on the internet can be easily faked by anyone. Just from the writing style, you notice you're dealing with 11 year olds who actually earn 1 penny in 3 years.

But hey, let's sacrifice realism for positivity. Everything is possible, you just didn't work hard enough - yeah right.

All you say is that somewhere on this forum there are people making that amount of money. We ask: Who? You don't reply cause you have no clue at all.

You say I was wrong and to prove it you offer a bubble, some vague information noone can verify. Why don't you just admit that you know nothing useful - neither about people's names nor their methods.

You don't seem to be able to deal with constructive criticism, or differing opinions. So I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by posting here, other than venting your anger.

You can not honestly believe there aren't people making $1m/year on here..."lol" as they say.
