I see panels and some websites selling Twitter impressions. What are they good for?
The public can't see how many impressions a tweet has gotten, so no social proof benefit, right?
You won't get a benefit of your tweet "ranking" better due to the internal increase of impressions that Twitter will see, right?
So then, what's the benefit of buying Twitter impressions? What, stroke your own ego to see in your analytics that your Tweet has gotten however many impressions?
I'm just trying to understand what the benefit of buying Twitter impressions is? They're being sold, so obviously there is at least some demand, but why?
