What are these Telegram Groups?

Hello, recently I've been seeing these Telegram groups that are set up in such a way that you have to invite 3 people somehow and then you get something in return. I myself am active in the adult niche but I don't know what this is. I've seen so many of these groups, does anyone have an idea or know exactly what it is or how they make money with it?

Probably selling channels. But don't they ban adult channels?

Maybe they aren't banning channel now. I haven't used Telegram in a while. But they have banned porn channels in the past.
