What are these guys doing?

They are probably using fake clicks (CTR manipulation) or sending bot traffic through Chrome to make it look real. It can work for a short time, especially for GMB, but its risky. Google might catch it and drop the rankings later.
meaning you can do neg seo by sending fake traffic to a site and make it tank? Just for a few cents... Scary...

Sounds like they're using fake traffic or CTR manipulation. It might give a short-term boost, but without real engagement or access, it's not sustainable.

Fake traffic is very effective depending on the quality of the bot used. The important thing is to do it cleanly, parasite seo is the dirtiest part of this business and should never be done.

Just type your keywords and your site into a properly working bot and specify how many visits you want. You can just go in and out, spend as much time as you want on the site or browse your pages.

If you provide gradual and slow submissions in accordance with the search volume of your sector and use cookies in use, the result is positive.

I've been seeing these Facebook ads for instant SEO boosting services lately and I'm trying to figure out what's actually going on here. There's this company called Jumper Media that claims they can boost GMB rankings and website traffic without needing any access to your accounts, and their testimonials look pretty convincing. People are talking about them getting real results, but I can't wrap my head around how this works. Are they using CTR manipulation or sending fake traffic? I saw someone mention something about "Chrome traffic" as a service they're selling. Is this stuff even real?, and if so, what's the actual mechanism behind it? I'm genuinely confused about how you can boost someone's SEO without having any account access. Looks like a scam to me, but keen to hear your opinions.
GMB/GBP (Google Business Profile) raters.
Increase real traffic from "real users".
No need for you to provide webmaster or GMB rights

This is the service, there's one on BHW: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guaranteed-improvement-in-google-ranking-14-day-results-no-cure-no-pay-unique-exclusive.1651985/

Seems to work, but expensive, not sure if you can get ROI?

Sounds like CTR manipulation with fake traffic. Might boost rankings short term, but risky and not reliable for long term.
