What are the top things you guys use a private proxy for?

Still learning here so apologies if this is a newb question but - what do you guys use private proxies for?

I am familiar with the concept of people using (generally public) proxies to get around geolocation access issues, such as being able to visit certain websites at work or in a country where that content is blocked - that's not what I'm asking about.

Social media is one of the biggest use for proxies,secondly you would need it for spam tools for various purposes.

I only use them for scraping but they have many other uses as others have mentioned.
