I have an idea of the next big things similar to the internet. From my personal research, the next big things that we can potentially make money from and innovate from and basically markets that will be insanely profitable are
1. web 2.0 and blockchain and decentralized finance which is basically an internet ran by blockchain and decentralized banks which means banks that basically have no central authority controlling it instead computer programs are put in place to replace the banks. Still got a while till that happens. This is a possibility just my guess. possible years it may happen 2030-2050 ways to profit- innovate things that have something to do with blockchain or invest in bitcoin
2.Virtual reality and augmented reality/mixed reality- You probably know what VR is which is when your completely immersed in a digital world ar is when digital content is overlayed over reality so basically, you would have glass on Ar glass and you could pull up a hologram of your car and search the internet and pin it against the wall and paly games overlayed on physical reality such as don't touch the floor its lava!! exetera Mixed reality is just AR on steroids its more advanced version. Potential years it may happen 2023-2030 ways you can profit- Create ar related apps because once this stuff goes mainstream there's a lot of apps that need to be built centered around ar,VR,Mr.
3.renewable energy- renewable energy is becoming a thing especially with Joe Biden in office. Potential rollout- 2021-2050 with increased frequency ways to profit are creating anything renewable energy-related like solar consulting and even starting solar farms
