As google changes their search engine algorithms, the effectiveness of the tools used by us black hatters also changes. This thread is meant as a continual assessment of those tools and their usefulness. At the moment, I myself don't have a whole lot to contribute other than what I've gained from lurking and endless usage of the search bar. This thread is meant to draw on the collective experiences of BHW.

List the top few tools that you use, and make a second list of the ones that are dead and no longer useful, then a brief explanation of how you came to your conclusion. I'll start with what i know, but it's mostly from absorbing info from BHW and similar sites.

Useful tools:
AMR
SENuke x
scrapebox
xrumer

Article marketing is still useful. Web 2.0 properties give a decent boost in rankings, and with scrapebox, it's easy to compile targeted lists relating to your niche among other things.

dead tools:
not sure which ones are dead

I'm a bit of a noob at the moment, so if my first list here needs to be revised, let me know, and it will be done.

spammy backlinks don't do much for the post panda world.

Your post seems to be based on speculation from what I gathered. Especially the part where you say that Xrumer is dead.

Hopefully one day people will start to realize that a tool is just that. It's all about how you use it.

For the record, Xrumer is far from dead..

there are lots of good tools and some free tools here in the forum. I recommend lurking around the SEO part of the forum to get your answer.

SenukeX
KeywordBlaze (love this tool)
MarketSamurai
Rank Tracker (still using free version, but I really love this tool)

i think scrapebox is dead too.. what ever site i use sb, it goes off!!

Dead tools xrumer...?

Hahahahahaha, you have no idea how to use it ;)

Explain me how i am ranking rotten niches like general weightloss stuff to the first page within 48 hours with a 3 day old domain, explain?

Hey, that's why I included that part at the end saying I'd change it if necessary because I'm a bit of a noob :P

I'm sorry but I think you are doing something wrong. Scrapebox is working just fine.
And what exactly do you mean with goes off? Your site got de-indexed? Or site got sandboxed? If it's sandboxed, it's a temporary problem only.
To avoid that, you can create some web 2.0 properties and blast those Scrapebox links only to the web 2.0 sites.

But Scrapebox is not only useful to mass spam comments, you can also search for high PR, d0-follow or wiki pages to manually comment on them.

I think that tools what work today are magic submitter, sick submitter and senukex

1) Scrapebox
2) Software like zennoposter.

the rest publicly available softs are basically garbage. If you really want to become a pro @ SEO you should understand that buying expensive softwares is a delusional way to do it.

If a tool isn't working properly, it's not the tool, it's the tool using the tool.
