what are the most converting facebook ads for apparel stores?

is anyone familiar with the product on white background technique?

basically you take whatever apparel item you're selling, put it on a white background, and that's the image ad for facebook ads

apparently this is supposed to be a high converting ad style for apparel? is anyone familiar of other ways to market apparel effectively with facebook ads?

How hard would it be to test it?

Also, calling it "a technique" is a bit overstatement, since every single ecommerce retargeting platform that takes products from xml feeds gives you that exact result, also probably 90% of newbie ecommerce marketers wouldn't be able to think about other way to promote the products (except for boobs and pictures provided by vendor), so it's like half of ads are made this way

To give you something more constructive, product ads are getting relativelly high on-site conversion rate but pretty low overall CTR, which increases your CPC and decreases ad reach, so I'd say they are perfect for high targeted Google Shopping campaigns, but FB Ads can be tricky
