What are the different ways to promote?

Hey guys..
I have recently started a video website/blog with ************** gateway..
At present iam getting extremely low number of visitors(~5 per day!) but without any promotion or SEO..

I want to know what are the different ways to promote my video/movie site..?

I have planned promotion through:
1. Yahoo Answers
2. Uploading Videos & Commenting on YT Videos.

How can i get large number of visitors quickly..?
I don't mind spending little money on promoting...

Social networking is good for a boost in traffic. I found that with something like Facebook or Twitter, posting your link will cause a temporary boost. I guess, if you have enough quality information, people will keep coming back.

IS it possible to promote using CL?

CL does not bring traffic but it bring Sale
thats why not suitable for video blog
uploading videos will bring traffic
