to much unessacary content - don't use filler words, to complicated sentence or make to much bla bla bla. Be precise and focus the content on your product / service then Google and you customer are understanding your content.

IMO,
The most common mistakes are, low quality content, using too much blackhat seo methods, too many spammy links and then easily caught PBNs. Underestimating on page seo and then making your site have no internal links.
