Just like the title says, what do you think the best PPC and SEO training programs are? Book, online program, etc.?

There is no one magic pill that will teach you all you need to know. Go to members download and read the guides. Read the forum. There are many useful posts that you can learn a lot of things. Along your education progress, feel free to ask any questions you have. But please just dont ask about how to make money or a working method.

Thank you for your reply. Let me add a couple things though that I should have included in the original post. Are there any beginner SEO or PPC training programs out there that you would recommend? Not looking for the magic pill, just some advice on books or online programs that some of you out there have had success with.

What about the fat cat blueprint?

Available here. Good starting point.

Well,

I'd say that it depends. Its kind of hard to just find an supreme all being program. Some courses are stronger than others in certain areas.

For PPC:

Perry Marshall - Adwords Elite Masters Sumit Maui (Make sure you pay attention to the Swiss Army Knife training)
Perry Marshall - Swiss Army Knife
Perry Marshall - Content Network Bootcamp (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)
Perry Marhsall - Definitive Guide to Adwords

As you can see im highly partial to Perry Marshall (I didnt make that rhyme intentionally). Out of all of the PPC courses i've seen, the above were the best.

For SEO:

For SEO I think it'd be a good idea to start from the ground up and learn Onpage SEO, then Offpage SEO. Even though they both go hand in hand, its sometimes easier in the beginning if you look at them as separate parts, and bring them back together in the end.

Onpage SEO:

Sitepoint - SEO Business Guide

That course is REALLY good if you have absolutely no experience what so ever. It covers everything from the Onpage how's and why's, as well as how to perform Market Research. The BEST thing about this course is that after you've learned all of the necessary lessons, it teaches you how to run your own business selling SEO as a service.

Offpage SEO:

Duncan Carver - The Ultimate Link Building Dossier
Sean Donahoe - Firestorm SEO
Sean Donahoe - .EDU Backlink Bonanza
WSO - Backlink Exposed

Now those courses are good because the first few teach you all about Offpage SEO, what it is, what you need, and how to do it. Backlinks Exposed actually gives you a handful of links and sources to get started.

Now I havent seen every single SEO course on the market, but those are really good, and i'd recommend them to anyone.

I offer a step-by-step SEO training course that teaches you how to gain top rankings in Google. This is based on 14 years experience in the field and I have documented all the SEO strategies that we use for our clients to gain those top rankings. If you go to marketingignitedotcom there is a link to the training course in SEO if you are interested to learn more...

I want to wish you the best of luck and if you need any help feel free to let me know..

All the best
Johan
