What are the best link building softwares?

I am a complete noob at link building (white or black hat) and I was wondering if people could tell me the best softwares for generating links. Please note, I need software that is Mac compatible, which I know is going to severely lower the pool of available software.

install windows via boot camp and that should solve your limitations. I suggest you try to understand link building before buying the tools. Scrapebox would be the best tool to start with.
 
If you got cash monies then SeNuke is pretty damn good. Otherwise, Scrapebox is also very good.
 
I may advice you to use link farm evolution. You will see great results with it if you use the program correct.
 
I have a Mac as well, however I also rented a dedicated server which I use to run all my Windows based programs.

Locally on my Mac I use Market Samurai and check/create links manually.....while I do all my heavy lifting (ie Scrapebox, SEO Elite, Tweetattacks....) on the server with a fat 100mbps connection that I control from my Mac via a Remote Desktop Connection.

It's nice as I can do twice the work...don't kill my Mac running Parallels and I have a computer working 24/7.
 
Xrumer is obviously the best....
Scrapebox is good...

in the end it will be the pr value of your links that will determine a lot.
