For new websites I think its important to focus on ad networks that have low traffic requirements and good user experience Besides AdSense, options like Ezoic Media net and Monumetric are worth exploring depending on your niche and audience That said building quality content and steady traffic should be the priority before maximizing ad revenue.
 
if you have 0 traffic, adsense alternatives will just pay you pocket change anyway. most networks that actually pay good money won't even look at a new site.
just stick with setup like propellerads or adsterra for a start because they accept literally anyone with a domain. but honestly, don't expect to buy a lambo with ad revenue until you actually get real people visiting your site :)

The problem with monetizing a new website is that many companies may not accept it, so you’ll have to look for companies that don’t impose many requirements on publishers. I’d recommend trying Monetag, which usually accepts most websites without any issues and offers its Multitag format, you simply install the code on your site, and the system automatically displays the most relevant ads for each visitor.
 
one thing people dont mention when stacking these networks, ive seen new sites run propellerads + adsterra + monetag at the same time and the page load time tanked so bad that bounce rate ate more revenue than the extra ad slots brought in

for a brand new site id pick one network, get it stable for a month, check actual rpm and page speed impact, then decide if adding a second one is even worth it
 
For new websites, Media.net, Ezoic, and Monetag are popular AdSense alternatives, depending on your traffic volume and niche.
 
In my opinion, Mediavine(Journey program is good for growing sites, but it usually needs more traffic before approval.

AdSense is the best option. It's better to focus on increasing traffic than on how to monetize a couple of unique visitors. Unless, of course, we're talking about topics that are prohibited by AdSense :)
 
In my opinion affiliate marketing is a strong alternative. If your niche is good, it can make more money than display ads.
 
for new sites adsense still easiest start, other networks usually need good traffic first.
