I love Ads! I am always testing different techniques and ways to increase viewability and CTR of Ad Placements on my site. I am always contacting different networks and platforms that offers a way to increase engagement and provides unique monetization options. If I see a unique placement on a certain site, I replicate it on my personal site and test it to come to a conclusion. There is a worksheet on my desktop where I keep a log of everything I am doing with ads.

But this has created a problem for me. Whenever I have a new idea about Ad placement, I drop all the important work I am doing. It has lead to loads of complete and semi-completed articles piling up in the draft which are ready to be published after I proofread it and add my own points in it.

Have any you of guys suffered a similar problem and how have you overcome it? Here are something I tried which helped a little but were not the final solution:

1. Writing all my tasks in a diary and giving them a priority rating.
2. Setting up reminders and countdown timers.
3. Creating a fixed schedule.

Staying away from the lounge is probably a good start :)
