What are some tips to hold a giveaway

Hi BHW,
I'm planning to run a giveaway for my Twitter accounts which is selling tool services. My main objective is increase followers from US-UK.
My account is still fresh, about 50 followers. I'm planning to buy follows to 1000.
I've contacted some promising partners, which have used our tool before, and have not yet used, but they are not reply/seen.
Does anyone here have been hold a giveaway? Any recommendation would help.

I recommend you use gleam.io to host your giveaways. It will help you gain followers, collect leads and get your website visited at the same time. The best feature is referring a friend which will get you more entries and followers :)

Have they still been doing well for you? I saw twitter changed their algorithm to penalize links that take users outside of twitter.

I stopped giveaways in 2019. You can buy a domain and make an image post like "To enter the giveaway, go to domain.com".
People will manually type your domain to enter the giveaway (Depending on how solid your giveaway and graphics are).

do blue check mark accounts get more leeway with links?
 
You need to first make sure you have everything set. i.e your pages, strategy etc. Have never used gleam but seen it works pretty well for a lot you could give it a try. What I have used before is buying shoutout from lager accs in my niche, and it worked well... GL

Seems this method need to have an enough amounts of followers to make it bump. In fact I just want to increase follows from US-UK.
About gleam, do I need a base followers?

You do not "need" to have base followers, but having some will help you a lot.
You could buy a shoutout from micro-influencers in your niche to promote your gleam giveaway.
OR you can run Ads that will allow you to post links too.

I recommend getting a few followers from SMM panels to increase your credibility for doing a giveaway. Because of lots of fake CPA giveaway campaigns, many people won't trust your giveaway if you do not have any followers.
