What are some plug-ins for WordPress that would benefit any kind of WordPress blog site? I know Yoast is one that everyone uses, but that's the only one I know of.

What are some other plug-ins that I should use to help my WordPress site?

w3 cache, all in one schema, 404 solution, no-follow all external links, and Yoast. Is all I use on my sites, but I'm building content/url locker sites, so my needs vs your needs might be a little different.

I used a ton.
1. Multi Plugin Installer to install several plugins at one time.

To increase Google Page Speed Insights score:
1. W3 Total Cache
2. Speed Up - Optimize CSS Delivery
3. Cache External Scripts
4. Autoptimize
5. WP Smush.

For SEO:
1. Yoast SEO
2. No follow all external links.

Backup:
All In One WP Migration. Alternatively, you can also use WP Time Capsule.

As for rest, I can't recommend anymore because it is more to your personal preference.

Yeah, I also install disable comments. I found that turning on the comment section on most of my WP sites is useless these days. If the traffic/visitor wants to ask question, he/she can simply browse to contact page.

What do you think of Disqus comment plug-in? I see a lot of sites using them nowadays.
