What are some methods that can be automated?

I have a decent amont of programming experience (Javascript, C#, Selenium etc) and I was wondering what are some methods that I can automate through API's?

I thought a good method might be taking products from Alibaba and posting to Ebay automatically, however I know that this wouldn't work due to people receiving a price sticker on their package.
