Link farms - networks of sites build specifically for providing links to other sites
Do they still exist? They certainly do. Many low effort PBNs could be termed link farms.

link farms are networks of websites created solely to link to each other and boost SEO. they still exist, but Google penalizes them heavily now, so using them is risky and mostly ineffective.

PBN is just a fancy name for link farms only. The methodology is same and desired result is also same.

They still exist mostly in forms like PBNs or spammy guest post networks. They have evolved into more hidden and sophisticated forms. Google is much better at spotting them, so relying on them is very risky.

That’s a really valuable reminder—so many people chase high DA without checking OBLs, and it’s true those kinds of links often end up being from link farms. Really appreciate you sharing this insight!

That's the least you can do while building, selling, and specifically buying links,
There's much more to take care of if you want to come up with the right links,
And most importantly working links, since most of these links are absolute trash nowadays,
They used to get some results (short-term in most cases) a few years ago, which is definitely not the case today (just a basic scam)
