Canonical issues happen when a website has more than one URL that displays similar/identical content (e.g. you've got http://, http://www., http://www., etc. issues).

You're gonna want to get those squared away to make sure your page(s) don't get kicked in the pants. Throw some canonical tags into the backend (or some plugins like Yoast have integration to do it). Both Moz & Ahrefs have some decent info on implementation.
